I am a little delayed in uploading my pictures! Mark has headed back to school for his Masters Degree, so he occupies the computer each night
and I am usually asleep by 9:00 anyway.
I took advantage of the pretty leaves a few weeks ago. Now they are wilted, wet and begging us to rake them to the street, which we have yet to do!

Thank goodness for the warm weather!!! It makes Halloween a bit more enjoyable, right?!
This year, after the kids picked through their candy and ate their favorites, they packed up all of their candy and gave it to the "Switch Witch". The Switch Witch then left a small treat (less than $5!!!!) for each of them this morning. Let me tell you how awesome it is going to be to not have to "manage" their candy intake over the next 3-4 weeks!!! Plus, it keeps me from eating it too!!!!!
In case you were wondering if that was a field of leaves the kids are standing in...nope! That is our DRIVEWAY! I love Fall, but the thought of raking these bad-boys to the street over the next 4-6 weeks KILLS ME! Damn trees! I kid (maybe!)

Last Sunday, our day started like this:
By lunchtime, it looked like this:
With a quick ride just before swimming lessons:
It has been so much fun with Maggie learning to ride her bike. Mark and I dusted off our beach cruisers on Monday night and went for a spin around the neighborhood (while Maggie sang a Dora song at the top of her lungs!)

Last week, we had family over to celebrate Maggie's 4th Birthday party. I am not sure I will ever have a Sunday party. It is exhausting!!! I spent the weekend preparing for her party and then didn't have time to prepare for the next week!
The only thing that was important to Maggie was a Dora cake, so Mark pulled out his trusty Kitchen-aid mixer and got to work. We had other plans for this cake, but our buttercream wasn't thick enough. After further research (post party), I realized we needed crisco to make it work. So, here is our "Plan B" cake that we made work.
"Swiper" stole our Pinata so we had to follow the map to find it ;)
We had a homemade pizza party, where everyone decorated their own pizza and then Mark warmed it on the grill.
We all had a great time together!
